Lost Season 5 Episode 3 Jughead
(SPOILER ALERT)
Kate and I watched lost tonight. I'd have to say it was the best episode so far in the entire series.
Lots of answers tonight. First of all we found out that Ms Hawking first name is Eloise- that was also the name of the mouse that Faraday was conducting time travel experiments on. It would thus make MORE sense that she is in fact his mother. meanwhile, on the island, we meet Ellie, one of The Hostiles in 1954 (pre-Dharma). Faraday tells her that she "looks familiar." Could Ellie be short for Eloise and could Faraday in fact be seeing his mother in the past? Also, Faraday tells her that he is from the future. It would make sense that Ellie would then spend the rest of her life obsessed with time travel and this is why Desmond has to go see her. because she has the answers.
Another new twist is that we now know for sure that Charles Widmore was a Hostile on the island in 1954.

So locke tells Richard that he is his leader and Richard has no idea what he is talking about. locke then proceeds to tell Richard that he is from the future and will be born in two years (from 1954 when he is talking to Richard) and that Richard should go find him then if he doesn't believe what he is saying. this is the reason why Richard goes to visit locke as a child - because he saw him in the past and was told to visit him. It also explains why Richard gets so upset that Locke does not hand Richard the compass when they meet with one another - because he doesn't remember what happens in the future in his past. or something like that.
Crazy theory but I think the girl who has been time-traveling in Faraday's failed Oxford time travel experiment (Teresa Spencer) is embodied by Charlotte and that could be why he is so protective of her? I really haven't figured this all out but any thoughts on this?

i think ellie is definitely faradays mother and she has to be ms hawking. maybe daniel is widmores son also?
we also know why widmore was funding faraday and why alpert recruited juliet and why he was keeping tabs on locke throughout his life. because they met them in the past.
now i think libby was working with widmore. she was watching people they knew would be on the island. giving desmond the boat and watching hurley in the institution.
also could the jughead be why they were pushing the button in the swan station? buried underground inside tons of cement? everytime the button was pushed it released energy from it.

I'm going to have to avoid reading everything you write about Lost, just until it starts here (though I couldn't avoid the photo and then what you wrote above it, damnit).

I definitely think Ellie is Faraday's mother -- I'm wondering if Penny is his sister?
(Also, I just posted a thing about Richard Alpert:

)
This is the height of me geeking out on a TV show. WTF? (Jack, good call on the Lost conversations, it's like Lost-aholics Anonymous. )
I get such satisfaction out of reading this. You all amaze me.
for whoever said they can't watch it where they are, it's online at abc.com in hd streaming...all 5 seasons!
theory...widmore is farrdays father?
Haha the part when Whitmore told Locke his name was so amusing. I love LOST. So mind-boggling!
